On Day 9, we posted information about how to contact your U.S. Senator.
Now here is information about how to reach your Representative.
Go here: House.gov, and enter your ZIP code in the upper righthand box.
You can click on your Representative to get to her or his page. There you will find all kinds of contact info: Emails and phone numbers for the Washington office and various local offices.
Add that info to your Contacts in your phone.
If you have a little extra time, make a test call, just to see what happens.
I would suggest calling about the Immigration ban. It’s a pretty solid topic to start with.
And, also from Day 9, here is the link for a Tumblr blog that helps you through the process of a phone call if you are shy: The Shy Person’s Guide to Calling Representatives.
What we do know is that it’s worth the jitters: Calling is the most effective means of being on a Representative’s radar.
The article will take you about 10 minutes to read and make notes.
